Who we are
Commercial Renovation Watch is operated by Forge and Circuit LLC. Contact: support@commercialrenovationwatch.com. A mailing address will be published here once it is available.
What you buy
- Dated NYC report ($29, one time): the qualifying projects in the permit window shown at checkout, as of that date, downloadable as CSV and HTML from your account after Stripe confirms payment. The report is fixed and does not update.
- Continuing access ($49 per month): access to refreshed project research on this site while your subscription is paid. We do not send email digests.
- Prices are in US dollars. Applicable sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout.
- Purchases are for business buyers only, for use inside your own business. Do not resell, republish or redistribute the report as a dataset.
What the information is and is not
Reports summarize public NYC permit, job filing and contractor license records with our filtering, deduplication and descriptions. A permit is a project signal, not a request for cleaning quotes, a bid invitation or an RFQ. Projects are not exclusive to you. We do not guarantee jobs, responses from contractors, or completion dates, and we infer no completion dates. Public records can be incomplete, self-reported or out of date; each project shows its source dates, status history and any related or earlier job warnings, and links to the source records. Check them before relying on a project. We are not affiliated with the City of New York.
Payments, receipts and subscriptions
Checkout is not open yet. The terms below describe how purchases will work once it opens.
Payments are processed by Stripe using Stripe Managed Payments. Checkout, receipts and card statements show the purchase as sold through Link, which provides receipts and order management at Link. Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. You can cancel at any time through Link order management; cancellation stops future renewals, and access continues until the end of the period you paid for. We never restart a canceled subscription.
If we cannot supply refreshed research for an extended period, we stop the future renewals of monthly subscriptions so you are not charged for updates we cannot provide. The period you already paid for is not charged again.
Access
Access is added to the browser that completes checkout once Stripe confirms payment, for that purchase. To use another browser, or to see purchases made on another browser, follow access recovery from the email address used at checkout. Refunded or disputed purchases lose access. Orders outside our current launch scope (business buyers with a US billing address) are not fulfilled, and the payment is refunded in full to the original payment method automatically.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access other buyers’ purchases, scrape or overload the site, or use the information to contact homeowners or private individuals. We may end access for misuse.
Limits
The service is provided as described on this site. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable law.
